My Homemade Blog Planner

Hi there! I wanted to share my homemade blog planner with you today.

First, before I get started, I wanted to let you know that I am today's featured blog over at http://www.embracingmessy.blogspot.com/.

Thank you Kelsey for picking me as your blog of the week! I appreciate it so much.

Okay, now onto my blog planner.

I needed some kind of organizer to help me plan out my creations for my blog.

I found this wonderful free weekly blog printable from Oh the lovely things blog.

http://ohthelovelythings.blogspot.com/2011/05/free-printable-weekly-blog-planner.html

I printed it out on 65lb white card stock.

It prints on the top half of your paper so I cut it to a 8x6 size. I printed about 20 pages for my planner (front and back).

For my front covers, I used chipboard and cut those at 8 1/4 by 6 1/4. You can use cereal boxes as your chipboard. They work just as well too.

For the paper collection, I used the October Afternoon 9 to 5 Collection Kit.

The 9 to 5 collection showcases the daily adventures of office life and was a fun kit to use for my planner. You can find this collection at www.twopeasinabucket.com or www.scrapbook.com.

I covered the front and back chipboard covers with paper and then started layering paper and stickers to the front cover.

I fussy cut the woman from one of the sheets of paper.I added a row of buttons for a pop of color and texture.

I punched two holes and am using book rings as my binder. I added some fun "office" elements to my top book ring.

This was so much fun to make and I can't wait to start planning out my creations for my blog.

Here is a look at the inside.

You can see the planner more up close and personal in the YouTube video below.
