Project Life Layouts

Hello! Here are my project life layouts for the week of September 9-15, 2012.

For these layouts, I decided to follow Two Peas in a Bucket and Garden Girl Lisa Truesdell. For the September 2012 Captured class, Lisa talks about how to add embellishments to your project life without making it too bulky for the album.
I tried some of her ideas and love how it all came together.
For these layouts I used the new Lily Bee Persnickety collection and a variety of stamps, inks, and other embellishments. The best way to see all supplies used is to view the YouTube video linked below.
For added embellishments, I added a doily, washi tape, flair badge, brad,  Martha Stewart metal rimmed tag, metal arrow, created a banner, stamping, and used a lot of staples from the Tim Holtz tiny attacher.
For the left side of my layouts above, I covered Emily helping me make homemade lemonade, us having allergies this week, remembering 9/11, Emily playing under the sheets, and my recipe holder and boxes. I added additional journaling to cover how much Emily has been helping me out in the kitchen and wanting to learn to cook.
For the right side layouts above, I included some pictures of a beautiful butterfly that I was able to capture last week.  I added a picture of my finalized pantry with new baskets, etc. I added a fun picture of Andy making us breakfast and a fun picture and post it note that Emily left on her lunch box for me one morning. I love to keep little things like this! I added a picture of Emily's favorite breakfast right now which is chocolate chip pancakes. I snapped a couple of my new fall favorites which is the Salted Caramel candle from Bath and Body Works and these fabulous ceramic owls that are actually measuring cups. These came from World Market/Cost Plus. The last picture is a picture of Emily and her friend (covered her picture) from their sleepover and a picture of their school project.
Here are some closer views.
