Recipe Review - Healthy Crock Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup
You add everything into your crock pot. I set it for high and it was done within 4 hours.
Once done you remove the chicken, shred it, and add it back in.
The only ingredient I did not include was the bay leaf. I didn't have that on hand.
Jen also tells you how to make the tortilla strips. I made some using flour tortillas and they turned out great.

It was delicious and very filling. I added shredded cheese, tortilla strips, and sour cream. I would have added avocado but didn't have any on hand.
It smelled so good while it was cooking!
As soon as my daughter walked in the door from school, she had to have a bowl.
This received three thumbs up in my house and the recipe will be going into my recipe box!!
