Refurbished Sewing Drawer

I would like to share how I refurbished this antique sewing drawer for my craft room.

I found this wonderful sewing drawer in an antique shop for $10.00. It was a little used and abused but I knew it would look great on my craft table. It just needed some love in the form of spray paint and a couple of pretty knobs.

Here are more before pictures.

Here are my supplies used:
The spray paint is by Rust-Oleum and I chose a Satin Paint and Primer In One in the color White.

I found these gorgeous knobs from Hobby Lobby.

Here it is after. My husband gave her a little sanding to touch up some rough spots and then sprayed her twice using about 1/2 of the can of paint. He screwed in the knobs on either end and that was it.

I love how it cleaned up and how it looks on my desk. The drawer is currently holding my Project Life journal cards and some scrapbook supplies and pictures.

It cleaned up well don't you think?

Thanks for looking!
