Thanksgiving Canvas

I have one last Thanksgiving project to share and it is a beautiful Thanksgiving canvas.

This was my first time completing a canvas project, so I don't have any before pictures. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out and didn't know if I would be sharing the completed project.
I love how it turned out and am so happy to have it displayed in my home for Thanksgiving.
I started with a blank 12x12 white canvas. I had one solid sheet of paper leftover from the Authentique Thankful collection. I also had a few scrap pieces of paper leftover from my previous Thanksgiving projects that I wanted to use up.
I used matte Mod Podge to glue down the 12x12 sheet of paper. I painted the sides of the canvas and edge of the paper using DecoArt Dazzling Metallic paint in Rich Espresso and Champagne Gold.
For the quilted pumpkin, I found a pumpkin template on Google images and printed it out on heavy white card stock. I cut my scraps into squares and glue them down over the pumpkin stencil. I then cut out the pumpkin shape and the stem. For the stem, I layered a piece of burlap, canvas, and paper.
For the bottom of the canvas, I painted some cardboard and cut out a lot of leaves in different items to create some texture. I used Ten Second Studio Metal, canvas, burlap, paper, and brown paper bag.
I embellished with various stickers from the Authentique Thankful collection sticker sheet and some chipboard birds from Studio Calico.
Here are more pictures.
