Recipe - Chocolate Haystacks

Today I want to share my Chocolate Haystack recipe with you.

I have been making us healthier, easy to grab snacks.  I love to make these on a Sunday afternoon and have for the week.
This is an easy recipe that you can make quickly.
Here are the ingredients:
Fiber One Cereal (One Sleeve)
Nuts of your choice
Melting Chocolate/Morsels (Dark, Milk, White, peanut butter)
Other ingredients on hand ( I used some Reeses Mini Pieces)
The Fiber One box had two sleeves in it. You only need to use one for this recipe.
Pour the cereal, nuts, and mini pieces into a big mixing bowl.
Add as many nuts as you like.
From here you can clean out your pantry and add in other cereals, granola, etc.
Put your chocolate of choice into a microwavable bowl and melt according to package directions.

Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal mixture in the mixing bowl.
Stir carefully until mixed well.
Add some parchment paper to a cookie sheet.
Using an ice cream scoop, scoop out a mound onto the parchment paper.
I made 23 haystacks.
These will be very wet and will fall apart easily.
At this point, I like to place these in the freezer for about an hour.
Here they are out of the freezer.
I then store these in a gallon size freezer ziplock bag and store in the freezer.
We all grab one when we want a chocolate/sweet fix.
I have to warn you, this is Fiber One cereal. I would suggest eating only one a day.
Hope you give these a try.
Thanks for looking!
