Scrapbooking One Year of Photos in a Weekend

Today I want to share with you how I scrapbooked our 2011 pictures using one collection kit and some divided page protectors and completed it over a weekend.

For 2011 I only did a couple of layouts and mini albums so I had some catching up to do.
I went on my first scrapbook retreat a couple of weeks ago and decided that would be a good time to catch up.
I have had the Simple Stories Year-O-Graphy collection in my stash for a while. I got it out and remembered that the Simple Stories collections fit perfectly with the We R Memory Keepers photo sleeve set.
I visited the Simple Stories website and found this wonderful Year-O-Graphy album idea guide.
I printed it out and sat down at the computer and started printing off pictures.
I took everything with me to the retreat and finished the album.
For these layouts, I also used Ali Edwards stamps, Jenni Bowlin Inks, and cuts from my Silhouette Cameo using kraft and cream cardstock.
To fit all of the pictures that I wanted to include, I used Picasa to make 4x6 collages.
Here is my YouTube video showing you the layouts in detail:
In case you prefer pictures, here are the layouts.

I also included some 12x12 and 8x8 layouts from 2011 into the album with the corresponding month. If you watch the video you will see those layouts as well.
I am so happy that I completed this project. It feels so good to have our 2011 pictures in an album instead of stuck in the computer.
After I unpacked from the scrapbooking retreat, I captured this picture of my husband and daughter looking at this album.
Love it!!

Get your pictures off of the computer and out of your phones and into an album and documented! You will be so glad you did!!
Thanks for looking!
