Spring Banner, Wreath, and Other Decor

Today I want to share with you a Spring Banner, Wreath,  and other decor that I put together for my home.

I made a fun Spring banner to hang on my fireplace cover.
Here are the supplies used:
Maya Road Banner Album
Echo Park Springtime Collection Paper Pack
Glitz Chevron/Arrow Roller Doodle
Hero Arts Flower Stamp
Jenni Bowlin Inks
Green Jute
I just layed out the banner. I printed my spring letters on my Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine.
I don't have any more pictures of my process. I started laying everything out and moving things around until I felt like it was complete.
Here are some close up pictures of each banner.
The next project was my Spring Wreath for my front door.
Here are my supplies:
Grapevine Wreath
Wooden B
5 Sheets of Felt in various colors
Hair Accessory Clips
Ivory Paint
I painted the B first and then made some felt flowers.
I used some alligator hair clips to glue to the back of the felt flowers so that I could remove them and add on different colors for summer.
If you want to learn how to make these flowers please see the videos here and here.
I used my Echo Park Springtime collection and my Silhouette Cameo to make a banner across my B.
The letter stickers spell out Spring. I know it is hard to tell in the picture.
Love it!!
For my antique hutch, I printed this Spring/Easter printable. You can find it here.
I painted a picture mat in yellow and then added it all to my 11x14 frame.
I also painted this wooden church birdhouse white.
I added three antique ceramic bunnies.
The last thing I did was make a quick decoration for my dining table.
The yellow place mat and cake plate came from World Market.
The nest/eggs came from Target.
I cut a circle from the Echo Park Springtime paper using my Silhouette Cameo to place under the nest for some added color.
Here is another view.
I love this view because you can see my Spring Mantel as well.
That is all of my spring decor for 2013.  I wanted to keep it simple but add some color.
Here is the video of all of the decor including my mantel.
Thank you for looking!

  1. Great idea to use the alligator hair clips on the flowers so they're moveable!
