Quick and Easy Winter Banner

Today I want to share with you how I made this quick and easy winter banner for my fireplace.

Here is the paper collection that I used. It is the Curio collection from Basic Grey.

First I cut the banner shapes using my silhouette cameo but you could hand cut these as well.

Next I added some bronze eyelets using my crop-a-dile.

You can also just use a regular hole punch for this step.

Next I added hemp cord to hold together my banner.

I added the banner to my book paper frame.

I made this frame in 2011 for a Christmas project.

I decided to use it for this banner.

I love how it looks sitting on my fireplace cover.

Here is the video from 2011 showing you how I made this book paper frame.

Here is the link to the blog post about how we made our fireplace cover.

Here is a link to my blog post about my red lanterns.

Thank you for looking.

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy tutorial!
