Simple Spring Yarn Wreath

Hi there! Today I want to share with you my simple spring yarn wreath.

I kept this wreath very simple and used minimal supplies.

14 inch foam wreath
Bernat Tizzy Yarn in the color Dandelion Yellow
Birdhouse wind chime
White paint (not shown)
Burlap ribbon (not shown)

The wreath foam and birdhouse wind chime came from Michael's.

I simply added some FabriTac glue to the seam of the foam wreath and started twining my yarn around the wreath form. When you get all around the wreath, add some more glue for the final piece.

For this 14 inch wreath, I used the entire roll of yarn.

I painted the wind chime white.

I cut the top string on the house in half and looped it around some burlap wreath to help hang it in the middle of the wreath.

This yarn is so much fun.  It is soft and reminds me of shag carpet.

I love how simple this was to make and how pretty the yellow looks against my red front door.

The birdhouse wind chime is not noisy at all but definitely gives it a touch of spring to the wreath.

Here is the yarn close-up. Doesn't it look like shaggy carpet? Love it!

I enjoy quick and simple projects like this. I completed this entire wreath in an hour.

If you are looking for a simple, but pretty wreath, this would be worth trying.

Thank you for looking.

See you on the next post.
