Smash Book Layout and Process Video - "Emily You Have Bright Ideas"

In the post today, I want to share a Smash Book layout and I have included a process video as well.

Here is the video showing you how I made this layout.

Emily has been on spring break this past week.

One afternoon Emily asked if she could make some new artwork for her room.

The main piece that she has been wanting to make was this Crayola art canvas.

To make this piece, Emily had to first peel off the Crayola wrappers.

I decided it would be fun to keep the pieces of wrappers and "smash" them into her smash book.

I used some Decoupage glue by Americana to adhere the wrappers to the page.

I then printed some pictures and made this layout in Emily's smash book.

This was so much fun to make.

Here are pictures of the other artwork that we completed.

I made a banner using the DCWV paper collection called Vintage Collector.

For the piece below, this wooden camera is available at Michael's.

Emily painted it and then we stenciled over it and added an October Afternoon flair badge to the front.

We then glued the camera to a 5x7 canvas that has been decorated with paint and patterned paper.

In this frame, we cut some colored metal into 2x2 squares that we ran through various embossing folders using my Cuttlebug.

Emily then glued the squares down to a piece of patterned paper and then we framed it.

We had so much fun creating new art!

Thanks for looking and see you in the next post.
