Stenciled Cards

Hi there! Today I have a couple of stenciled cards to share with you.

I made these cards for a couple of wonderful crafty YouTube friends who have sent me lovely cards and packages. Thank you again ladies!

Here is the YouTube video that inspired my cards.

Here are my supplies that I used.

Pink Card Stock
White American Crafts Card Stock
Stampin Up Inks in the colors Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, and Daffodil Delight
Studio Calico Circle Mask
Ali Edwards Stamps:
So Totally Happy
Super Fantastic
The small hearts and star stamps are from a Wplus9 set called Borders and Backgrounds 3

I cut my pink card stock into an A2 sized card.

Next I cut my white card stock around 1/4 inch smaller then the pink card stock.

I then cut a piece of white scrap card stock to mask off the area that I wanted to leave blank for my stamped sentiment.

I used some washi tape to position and hold the stencil into place.

Next I used a makeup sponge to dab on the ink colors over the stencil onto the white card stock.

You then carefully peel up the stencil and repeat the process to the bottom of the card

I then added my stamps and glued the white card stock to the pink card base.

I had so much fun playing with my supplies, that I decided to make matching 3x4 project life cards.

Both ladies do project life albums, so I thought they would enjoy these.

They can either stamp a sentiment in the middle or use it for journaling.

These cards were so much fun and easy to make.

I will definitely make these types of cards again.

Thanks for looking!

See you in the next post.

  1. Gorgeous cards - I love the colors you used.

  2. Wonderful colors! So cheerful and a lot of punch packed into single layer cards.

  3. These are awesome! I need to try this technique.
