Hi there.  Today I want to share with you all my project life layouts for March 2014.

Here is the YouTube video showing you all of the items used and everything in detail.

Here are the layouts.

For March, I took a lot of daily pictures, some new grocery finds, new recipes, Spring Break, spring planting/things around the house.

Here are some more detailed pictures.

I took these pictures before I did my journaling, but the journaling is done in the YouTube video.

Thanks for looking!

Smash Book Layout and Process Video - Good Stuff

Today I have a smash book layout and process video to share with you.

Here is the YouTube video.

Here is the PageMaps sketch that I used for inspiration.

Here are the supplies that I used. This is the new As You Wish collection from Fancy Pants.
I also used various letter stamps and a confetti stamp set from WPlus9 called Borders & Backgrounds 3.

For this page, I wanted to capture a fun weekend that Emily had with her best friend.

She just recently read all three books in the Divergent series so she was excited to see the Divergent movie.

I used this two page spread in her blue smash book.

I used the Good Stuff on the right side as my title and created a layout on the right hand side.

I used various letter stamps and inks to stamp the "good stuff" that Emily did over the weekend with her friend.

I cut the circle background, doily, and camera shapes from my Silhouette Cameo.

The tag and stickers are from the Fancy Pants collection.

I used a yellow paper clip from my stash to keep the file folder closed and makes a great embellishment.

I placed a picture of the movie poster on the inside of the file folder.

Here is a close up of the tag and Silhouette cuts.

I used a date roller stamp and added my journaling to the bottom of this page.

I love this "explore dream discover" sticker for this picture of Emily's books. It doesn't always have to be related to a trip. I think these words apply to books too!

Here is a close up of the words that I stamped as my sub-title.

I had so much fun making this layout.

Thank you for looking!

See you in the next post.

Heidi Swapp Memory File for Project Life Album

Hi there! Today I want to share a Heidi Swapp memory file that I made and added to my Project Life album.

I followed along with Heidi on this online class at My Craft Channel

Here is my YouTube video showing you the items used and the project in detail.

Here are the pictures of my completed project.

On my 39th Birthday, I captured my day via pictures and I wanted to find a way to include it in my project life album via something different besides page protectors, layout, etc.

I watched the Heidi Swapp video linked above and went to Michael's to buy the memory file kit and some of Heidi's new products.

Here is what I made.

Here is how I inserted the file folder into my project life album without having to punch holes in the file itself.

I took a 1x2  inch piece of heavy American Crafts cardstock. I used a scallop punch on the edges.  Scored the piece in half, punched a hole and glued the pieces to the file. I then scored the paper again next to the file to ceate a fold so the album would bend when opened. It words great!

I hope you will watch my video linked above so that you can see everything in more details.

Thank you for looking!

See you on the next blog post.

Project Life Layouts - End of January through February 2014 Plus 12x12 Calendar Layouts

Happy April!  I have some more Project Life layouts to share with you today.

Here is a the YouTube video showing you everything in detail.

This is the last page for January.  I did a couple of 4x6 photo collages to cover Emily's 12th birthday.

At the time I took these pictures I had not completed my journaling on the blank cards.  It's done now.

I have been using the Collect App from the App store to save my pictures and journaling that I want to use for Project Life.

You can create a calendar collage too.

I had these 12x12 calendar layouts printed at Costco for $2.99.

I then decorated them with paper, Thickers, stickers, die cuts, etc.

I decided to use one word to represent each month.

I chose "celebrate" for January since we celebrated two birthdays in January. (mine and Emily's)

Here is my February calendar layout.

I chose "love" as my word for the month.

Here are my February layouts.

For my paper, I used an older Basic Grey collection called Kissing Booth.

I also used a lot of die cut shapes from the Silhouette store.

The blue skies die cut below is from the Two Peas In a Bucket digital store

I have my March project life layouts complete so those will be up next on my blog.

Thanks for looking!
