I cut the bottom strip from a Maggie Holmes 12x12 piece of paper.
I loved this sentence for my calendar.
I cut the other patterned papers to fit the blank spaces on the calendar.
I used some Maggie Holmes ephemera to layer on the calendar.

It has been a while since I shared anything food related on my blog, so today I want to share with you a current favorite.
I have been enjoying eating this yogurt fruit parfait.
These are so simple to make.
They are so delicious and healthy.
Here are the ingredients that I used.
Yoplait Greek 100 calorie yogurt in vanilla
Cascadian Farm Dark Chocolate Almond Granola
You can substitute any flavor of yogurt and fruit that you prefer.
Slice up your strawberries. Add a layer of yogurt to the bottom of your dish, add some fruit, granola, then repeat the layers. I like to end with some yogurt at the top with a sprinkling of granola on top.
That's it. Add as much fruit as you like and enjoy!
I highly recommend the Cascadian Farm granola. The dark chocolate and almonds in this granola gives a wonderful boost to the parfait.
It tastes so good.
Just wanted to share in case you are needing a great snack or breakfast idea.
Thank you for looking!

I am ready to share with you my front porch that is ready for spring and summer.
Here is my Simple Spring Yarn Wreath from a previous post.
Our front porch is mostly in shade, so I love using ferns every year.
I have had these pots by my front door for several years and I usually plant impatient's and caladium's, but this year I decided to see how some hosta's would do on the porch. So far, so good.
Another fern and a type of petunia basket that came from Lowe's.
This planter got a coat of the bronze paint and I filled it with dwarf mondo grass and caladiums.
I love my rooster plant holder. I have had it for years, I added a pot filled with bright pink impatient's.
I found this beautiful mandevilla hanging basket at WalMart.
It's a trailing plant, so I will keep it trimmed but I love the pretty pink color and the fullness.
Here is a side view of the porch from our driveway.
I love my porch this year. I am hoping all of these beautiful plants make it through a hot Texas summer!
Thank you for looking!
See you on the next post.
