Crock Pot Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Recipe Share

I want to share a family favorite recipe with you today.

Crock Pot Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork

I love this recipe because it is easy and it always turns out delicious. There are always so many ways that you can serve this recipe as listed below.

I also love this recipe because I always have most of the ingredients on hand.

For this week, I just had to buy the pork roast and Dr. Pepper.

Crock Pot Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork

2 lb Pork Roast
1 large onion, sliced
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 can Dr. Pepper
Salt and Pepper
1 1/2 Cups Ketchup
2 Tablespoons mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar

Spray your slow cooker with cooking spray. Place the pork roast in the cooker. Salt and pepper the pork to your liking. Add in the onion and garlic.  Pour the Dr. Pepper over the top of the pork. Cook on high 4 to 6 hours or until the meat shreds. Pour out most of the liquid, leaving just enough to coat the bottom of your slow cooker. Shred the meat. In a small mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, honey, Worcestershire, and brown sugar. Whisk together until smooth and combine with the pork in the slow cooker. Cook on low for another 45 minutes to an hour.

For the first night, I like to serve this recipe with some sides.

In this picture I served the pork with ranch style beans and Annie's Mac and Cheese.

This is good comfort food on a plate!!

The second night, we like to eat this on hamburger buns or deli style rolls with a side.

This is also good as a wrap with avocado, in a salad, or on a baked potato.

The leftovers also freeze well too.

You just can't go wrong with this recipe.

I hope that give it a try.

Thanks for looking and please subscribe for future posts.

Hugs, Shelly
