Honey Mustard Chicken - New Recipe Try and Review

I cooked a new recipe for this week.
It is called Honey Mustard Chicken and it was easy and delicious.
It is a keeper and will be added to my recipe box and rotation of chicken dishes.
Link to original recipe can be found here at Simply Recipes.
If you view the original recipe, I made changes to it per my family preferences.
2 to 4 chicken breasts
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup Stone Ground Mustard
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
Dried Rosemary Leaves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place chicken in oven proof baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, mustard, and olive oil.
Pour over the chicken. Sprinkle the dried rosemary on top, evenly.
Bake for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
You can view me making this recipe in the attached video below.

My family loved this recipe.
My daughter said the house smelled like Panda Express while it was cooking.
It reminded us of sweet and sour chicken. I think the stone ground mustard is the key ingredient.

I served this with a side salad and we had some leftover squash casserole, but I think rice would be great too.

I hope you give this recipe a try.

Let me know if you do.

Thanks for visiting. I hope that you will subscribe for future posts.

Hugs, Shelly

  1. This recipe looks great! I actually tried something like this a while back, and this just brought back so many nostalgic memories, haha! I love cooking stuff like this. I always try to find new recipes on forums and I got great ones emailed to me from and I genuinely enjoy them. Anyways, thanks for posting this dish, I really need to make this more often!
