Hello Winter Sign - Finding Inspiration Everywhere

I used my vintage sign holder to make a Hello Winter sign for my winter home decor.

I had a winter Starbucks gift card sitting on my desk that I was going to use in my Project Life album.

While I was planning my winter sign, I kept looking at the gift card and kept thinking how pretty it was. I figured why not use it as my inspiration piece.

I found an older Echo Park paper collection in my stash called Wintertime.

Next, I browsed through my Silhouette files and found this bare winter trees cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables.

Next, I cut my title, hello winter, which is also available at the Silhouette online store.

Using the gift card as my inspiration, I found this bird in the Silhouette store and used the same red paper as the title.

I then cut some snowflakes on my Silhouette and decided to emboss them.

I used Kaleidoscope embossing powder which added a pretty shimmer to the snowflakes.

Here is the completed sign.

I found the snowman sticker on my Echo Park Wintertime sticker sheet.

Here are some close-ups of the completed sign.

I also decided to add some silver and white sequins to the sign too.

Here is the sign on my antique hutch in my hallway.

My other winter decor on this hutch includes an apothecary jar filled with white and clear gems, a faux camera, and a ceramic white owl.

I had so much fun creating this sign!

Next time you need some inspiration, take a look around your craft desk or home.

You never know what will inspire you!!

I hope that you will subscribe for future posts.

Hugs, Shelly
