March 2015 Project Life Layout

Hi there! I have my March 2015 Project Life Layouts to share with you today.

You can also watch me flip through the layouts on the following YouTube video.

Here are the layouts. (Photo heavy. I had a lot to cover in March)

I challenged myself to only use scrap paper and ephemera to embellish the pictures.

I also used die cuts and stamps.

In March, Emily and I traveled to New York for a school trip.

It was our first time in New York.

I came home with a lot of stuff (tickets, brochures, etc) so I used this luggage tag to embellish and add in to the album for fun.

This is the front side. I just added some patterned paper and a die cut from my Silhouette Cameo and some twine.

This is the backside of the tag.

This was a fun way to add in something from the trip without adding to much bulk to my album.

I also added in a We R Memory Keepers page protector full of picture collages to document the trip.

I had fun creating this layout!

These 2x12 strips in these page protectors are perfect for a title.

I cut the New York City on my cameo. I also added a fun clothing tag from a shirt that Emily bought while in New York. I also added some washi tape to the spine of the protector for added color.

I used some Ali Edwards digital brushes to add to this photo from Liberty Island.

This is also a Simple Stories flip photo pocket.

Here is the layout with the flip pocket open.

I used another digital brush on the picture of Emily and the viewfinder. You can't see it very well. It says find beauty in moments.

This was such a memorable moment getting to see the Statue of Liberty for the first time with Emily.

Here is the backside of the New York layout.

The collages were created in Picasa.

Here is a close up of the 2x12 pocket. I cut the NYC and city scape from my cameo.

Ok, back to my regular project life layouts for March.

In March, we also redecorated Emily's room, Emily started track meets for athletics, and Andy took a work trip.

Here is a smaller page protector insert that I have been using each month to fill with fun pictures from the month that don't need journaling or a date.

I just want to include these in the album for fun.

Here is the last layout for my March pages.

Here are some close up pictures of some of the pockets.

Lots of pictures, but lots of wonderful memories captured!

Thanks for sticking it out to the end of this blog.

I hope you that you will subscribe for future posts.

Hugs, Shelly

  1. Loved your video! Do you know of any Project Life get togethers? I live in NW Garland and would love to scrap my PL with others.
