Project Life Layout Share

I worked on some of my May 2015 Project Life Layouts.

I am still using and loving the collect app on my iPhone to capture and journal our memories.

I didn't finish May, but wanted to go ahead and share the first three pages that I completed.

I used the Amy Tangerine Rise and Shine collection for this month.

I always start with my month card.

I layered some printed acetate paper on top of some patterned paper.

I added the "here's the story" card and some thickers with an arrow.

This first spread actually has some pictures leftover from April.

I am just going with the flow of my pictures this year in my album.

I don't need each month to begin on a fresh page.

For these layouts, I pulled some chipboard frames from my stash.

I used some strong sticky double sided tape to adhere the frame to the outside of the pocket.

I had fun with this picture by using a cloud punch and layering the clouds, a camera die cut, and the friends word cut from the Rise and Shine collection.

I turned 40 this year and when I went for my annual eye exam I was told that I needed reading/computer glasses. Emily said I looked more professional!

The "look at this" die cut was cut from my Silhouette cameo and I just layered it over a piece of printed acetate from the collection.

Here is the second layout for May.

I love capturing new recipes that we try. I had a 1/2 of a Kraft tag in my stash, so I used it on the note to self card for additional journaling.

The let's celebrate black and white sticker is from Cosmo Cricket. We were celebrating Andy's 43rd birthday!

I used another chipboard frame over this picture of me and Emily from Mother's Day weekend.

The snapshots of our life was cut from my Silhouette cameo and I backed it with some patterned paper.

I had fun on the bottom cards below.

I cut the capture this moment from my Silhouette cameo. I layered the washi tape from the collection under the die cut.

For the card on the right, I didn't have enough pictures on my collage, so I added some patterned paper and a die cut scalloped frame on the bottom right corner. I also cut apart a 3x4 card to use that I l love right now phrase.

Here is the third layout. This takes me up to May 24, 2015.

I used a Simple Stories Snap photo flip pocket to add in extra photo's and journaling.

Here is the pocket flipped open.

I used the extra journaling feature in the collect app to capture everything that I wanted to say about this day. I also added on the movie stubs and a Victoria Secrets clothing tag to the pocket.

Here is another chipboard frame. These are so much fun to use!

The true story arrow was cut from the silhouette cameo and I water-colored it a light orange.

The heart this circle die cut was also cut from the silhouette cameo.

I layered it over a colored flower from the collection.

I really want to catch up on my project life layouts.

Pulling one collection and a few stamps, punches, or die cuts from your stash will help make the process go faster.

I completed these three layouts this afternoon and will continue to work on May over the rest of this weekend.

Once I finish May, I will film a video sharing the entire month.

Stay tuned!

Thanks for looking.

Hugs, Shelly
