Here are the supplies that I pulled for my August layouts.
I used an older collection by Fancy Pants called Be You.
I also pulled various stamps, inks, and embellishments.
Here is the first layout for August.
This layout captures time with friends, getting ready for school, birthday, and a date night.
For my August month card, I used a month cut from the Silhouette online store. I used some patterned paper from the Fancy Pants collection.
I embellished with a Heidi Swapp banner and arrow that I colored with ink.
The yellow memories captured is a stamp from Elle's Studio.
Here is second layout for August.
This layout captured back to school, walks, time with friends, and fishing adventures.
I love using stamps on my project life layouts.
I used an embellishment from Elle's Studio below and just added a stamp from Kaisercraft.
For this picture, I cut some of the Fancy Pants patterned paper, stamped the You & Me stamp and then added the quote below it.
The patterned paper below already had the pink "heart" you printed, but you could easily re-create this look with paper and a stamp.
I have been including a smaller photo pocket insert in each month, filled with fun "extra" pictures.
I love adding washi tape to the binding for some extra color.
The last two cards for August went into the next layout/page, hence the photo of only two pictures.
The selfie picture was me capturing the fact that I found grey hair and had to go get highlights!!
The last picture captured my husband filling up our bird feeders in the backyard - something he enjoyed doing all summer.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
If you have any questions about the layouts, please let me know.
See you soon with my September layouts.

Hi there, here are my July 2015 Project Life layouts and video flip through.
Here are the majority of the supplies that I pulled for these layouts.
I used the Poolside collection from Crate Paper.
Here are my July layouts.
I use the Collect app on my iPhone to add the journaling to each picture.
The first three pockets are from June, so I started my July layouts with a fun "hello July" 3x4 card from the collection.
Here is a close-up of the month card. The hello and July are acetate pieces from the Poolside ephemera pack.
I also used some of the chipboard frames from the Poolside collection.
I love this one with the gold glittered corner. I used it around a picture of my beach themed mantel.
I pulled some washi tape from my stash that matched the Poolside collection.
For this card, I cut some of the patterned paper, added a strip of washi to to the bottom.
For embellishments, I used a hello wood die cut from the collection and I stamped and cut out this real life speech bubble from a Simple Stories stamp set and used Melon Mambo Stampin Up ink.
Here is my smaller page protector insert for additional pictures from the month.
I love to use washi tape on the spine of the protectors.
I also used some inspiration quotes that I like to gather from Instagram or Pinterest.
For this layout, I captured a sleepover, fun family time, and Emily went on vacation to the beach with my in-laws.
The two beach pictures below were from Emily, so I wanted to connect them by using the same patterned paper on both pictures and the one sticker came from the Poolside sticker sheet.
I also used a couple of additional stickers on each picture and an acetate overlay that says "my happy place."
For this picture, I used another frame from the collection and added a piece of patterned paper and the stamp "bring on the moments" is from Ali Edwards Spark Story Stamp.
The whole week that Emily was on vacation, I didn't take many pictures at home because we relaxed, tried a couple of new restaurants in the area and caught up on some TV shows. I found this quote card and knew that it would be perfect to represent this week. I added on the banner using a Studio Calico stamp using Bermuda Bay ink from Stampin Up.
For my last layout in July, I captured a beautiful picture of our pug, Mac, some fun pics of Emily throughout the week (school shopping, sleepover, etc) and a picture of my Grandparents.
The last two pictures are the first two days in August. I am not trying to be perfect with this album; I am just letting the days run together in my layouts.
I used another frame from the collection around this fun picture of Emily picking out her school supplies. She loves school supplies!
The collage picture was created in PicFrame on my phone and then I put it in the Collect app to add the journaling. These pictures are from Emily school clothes shopping.
For this beautiful picture of Mac, I added a piece of patterned paper, the camera die cut, gold ampersand sticker, and a gold paper clip from my stash.
For this collage photo of a day at the park fishing, I added a piece of patterned paper, added a strip of washi tape to the bottom and layered the love acetate piece with the summertime sticker and the adventure silhouette die cut that has been backed with patterned paper.
Well, that wraps up my July 2015 Project Life layouts.
Thank you so much for looking.
