Spring Paper Wreath plus a Process Video

Hi there! I am ready to begin putting out my spring decor.
I wanted a new wreath, so I have a spring paper wreath to share with you today.

I have a process video linked below if you would like to see how this was made.

My inspiration for this wreath came from Amy at The Happy Scraps.

Amy made a really pretty paper Easter wreath and I was inspired to make my spring paper wreath

Here are the supplies that I used. I pulled an older paper collection from my stash called Flights of Fancy by Prima. I purchased the 15.8 inch foam wreath form from Hobby Lobby.

The roll of ribbon is from Michael's and the My Garden Friends nest is from Hobby Lobby.

The tools that you will need are a paper trimmer and glue gun with extra glue sticks.

Start out by cutting your paper into 1 inch by 12 inch strips.

From there, cut each 12 inch strips at 4 inches. You will get three pieces of paper from each 12 inch strip.

Next you will take the 4 inch strips and apply a thin line of glue to one end of the paper and carefully fold over the paper to form a loop.

Once you are done, you will have a fun pile of pretty loops

Now you will begin glueing each loop to the wreath form.

I did four loops in a row and then just began layering the paper around the wreath form.

To add on the ribbon, I made a loop and glued it on to the back of the wreath form. Leave enough of a strip of ribbon to glue on the nest.

I ran another strip of ribbon through the loop and tied a bow so that I could hang it on my front door.

Here is my completed wreath.

It looks so pretty on my front door.

So soft and pretty.

I am leaving it up all spring.

I hope you like my new spring paper wreath too!

Thanks for looking!

Hugs, Shelly
