One Little Word May, June, and July Prompts

For the blog post today, I am sharing my May, June, and July prompts for One Little Word.

You can find more information here about the One Little Word class by Ali Edwards.

For the May prompt, we were to look through the lens of our camera and connect with our word.

I chose some pictures from the month of May and created a 5x7 collage in PicMonkey.

I then created an 8.5x11 layout using my collage. I started with the Photography Word Art digital stamp set from Ali Edwards and printed some of the sayings onto my Rustic Cream Card stock by Papertrey Ink. Next I layered some embellishments pieces from the My Mind's Eye collection called My Story.

I kept it simple, but love the completed layout!

The June prompt was to fill out a progress report about our word using a list of question from Ali.

I added on some Thickers spelling the month of June to the top of the page.

I also added on a selfie from the month of June along with some motivational quotes from Pinterest.

The prompt for July was so much fun.

We were to create a manifesto and encouragement cards for the month.

I had fun using paint, stencils, stamps, and inks from my stash.

I used a Simple Stories 6x8 page protector for this prompt.

I printed the July manifesto card provided by Ali.

For my other cards, I cut a piece of watercolor paper into 3x4 and 4x6 cards.

I used paint and stencils first to create the background of my cards.

The "love this life" was cut from my Silhouette Cameo and painted with medium magenta Liquitex paint. I also stamped the card with sayings from the Ali Edwards Story Stamp called Get Real.

Here is the backside of the page protector.

I had so much fun with this prompt and I am enjoying the journey of my word, "change," for 2016.

I filmed a video if you would like to see everything in detail.

Thank you so much for joining me today on my blog.

Hugs, Shelly
